Our 38-week Medical and Health Administration diploma program provides you with the medical, technical and office management skills to become a valuable member of any medical office team.

What will I learn?

You will learn to update patient records; schedule and confirm appointments; interview patients for case histories; maintain medical inventory; manage incoming phone calls and correspondence; transcribe reports; process computerized OHIP billing and more. You will receive hands-on training in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as ABLEMed management software. You will also study medical terminology and transcription, medical office procedures, and infection control and safety. A field-related practicum gives you opportunities to put your new skills into practice and gain experience in a real-world medical office environment.

Please note that, to ensure the safety of our students and faculty, all programs are currently offered through remote learning.
